For humans curious about being human.
Life is funny. Not always ha-ha funny. Although sometimes that too.
And being human is wonderfully ridiculous.
We’ll spend hours worrying about something that may never happen.
Lose our phone while we’re talking on it.
Beat ourselves up…then beat ourselves up for beating ourselves up.
We search for another book, a new podcast, or the latest program, thinking they'll make us feel better.
Or we avoid the discomfort altogether.
Loop, meet loop.
No wonder we’re exhausted.
Maybe we’ve spent enough time trying to fix ourselves.
What if we held ourselves—and life—a little lighter?
One tiny pause. One playful experiment. One smile.
Notice what shifts.
The professor, researcher, curious human, "observarian," and “Sid” behind Dr. SidZ Studio.
Here’s the ridiculously human part. For almost three decades researching well-being, I was subconsciously turning my own life into another science project. Another thing to analyze. To figure out. To improve. Then I began to pause. To notice. To smile. To experiment. To welcome the full, beautiful messiness of being human. Dr. SidZ Studio grew from this lived experience—a creative space where curiosity meets science, stories meet everyday life, and tiny, playful experiments become gentle invitations to explore new ways of being human… and maybe even spark living a little lighter.
I'm glad you're here.
