I'm Dr. SidZ — creator, observer, and curator of insights. I want to help you explore the art of being and experience life more fully.

Meet Dr. SidZ

For years, I thought happiness was something I would eventually achieve.

When I earned the degree.

When I found the right relationship.

When life finally looked the way I thought it was supposed to look.

Instead, I became what I jokingly call the unhappy happiness professor.

I earned a PhD and spent my days teaching the science of happiness and well-being while quietly struggling to apply it to my own life. The more I learned, the more I felt like I wasn’t measuring up to the very thing I was teaching.

Then one day, after class, a student could not wait to tell me about Shawn Achor’s TED Talk, The Happy Secret to Better Work. She said I’d love it, and she was right.

That moment sparked a new direction in both my work and my life.
Over time, I began to realize that what I was really seeking had been here all along—in the moments I had been rushing past.

I also discovered that happiness and well-being are not the same thing.

Happiness comes and goes. Well-being is something we can practice.

Not through pressure, rigid programs, or endless self-improvement. Instead, through curiosity, play, exploration, and the tiny felt moments of everyday life.

The Well-Being Experiment Cards®, Pause Trio™, and Dr. SidZ Studio all grew from that realization.

This space is an invitation to slow down, experiment, and explore what it means to be fully human.

Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
